I love the concept of the screens / reflecting spaces it made me reflect on the constant surveillance I experience as a Black person. Even though I could be seen, it still felt like a safe space. The center works were very intense for me, but I appreciate the visual blocking and obscuring of the space. I appreciate the show; it was education and thoughtful. Paul Rucker’s KKK sculptures would have been cool though.
